Actually I'm wrong. It does show up in Flash... if I start Safari it works... will restart Firefox and see but it looks like this is just a case of needing to restart the app.

I have the same problem, I'd like to use my Philips ToUcam Pro with Seesmic, but the Flash application doesn't seem to detect it (the macam.component is installed and the camera works fine in the macam app itself).

Yes please - I thought this was already part of the program, I only just discovered that I need to go back to the official client to scrobble iTunes stuff :-(.

I bet this is to do with the iTunes typelib not being correctly registered. The first time I installed iTunes 7.x, other applications weren't able to control it or get the currently played track. I reinstalled / repaired, and it worked. Check the registry for the value 9E93C96F-CF0D-43F6-8BA8-B807A3370712, if it is there you are OK, if not then try repairing the install.
