Zoom in and out and pan aorund on the attached example.
Move objects around.
See the horizontal lines? The rendering is broken,
lets fix it ! :-)

we now support it in trunk the full example can be rendered
correctly - ish
at least its not ignored :)

Preferably usable via the cmdline
It would be useful to clean the unused defs in a batch
of documents in a directory
e.g. cd to a directory of icons that have been made
from a template with lots of gradient defs then
inkscape vaccum *
to remove the unused gradient defs in each icon so that
all the files are optimised.

This is an RFE i support 100%
I dont support a full change ( ie a tab for tool properties )
but i do supoprt all dalogs being implelented with this system.
the fill and stroke dialog and the document properties
dialog should be managble in the same fashion as the gimp's
dockable-tab-system
this will greatly reduce the total windows on the screen...

varied height because objects arent on the right z-level anymore
if you copy and paste from the sample file you'll notice
that the order of shapes has changed.

selecting all objects and copy-pasting them puts them
on the same layer like I intended.
But also makes all objects varied height to what the
layer order displayed.
when doing this also fills some objects the one colour
for some reason..
update: the only shapes whose colours change are those
that were not on the layer the new copy is being pasted to
feel free to use the...

selecting objects across multiple layers and clicking (
raise selection to top / bottom ) closes inkscape.
To re-create the problem open the attached file and
select from the top left to bottom right markers and
click " rase selection to top ".

My girlfriend was working away and inkscape crashed..
not to worry.
A quick look in the /.inkscape/ directory and there was
the backup file generated on crash.
Unfortunatley this file doesnt open in inkscape.
Infact, it even crashes EOG or nautilus when previews
are turned on.
my major concern is how it crashes inkscape, and rsvg
apps on open. we should prevent inkscape from...

not too major a problem but interesting glitch in an
otherwise perfect renderer lol.
attached is a version of the same file that doesnt cause the
problem..
i guess its just spot the difference.
