Excellent. That has to be the most impressive MySQL crash I've seen! Actually, I don't think I've ever really seen it crash before.

Hmmm... very strange indeed. The query is associated with the task listing screen, not the task add screen.
The query looks normal enough, and certainly there's no error message about the syntax.
The lost connection message, I think, is caused by the server disconnecting or otherwise failing during the query.
Anything in the mysql logs?.

Interesting. I've just installed WebCollab 2.50 and that works O.K., so it's not a version problem.
What happens when you try the demo website here on Sourceforge (It works for me)?.

I can get the icon to work normally on my test system. However you do need to have javascript enabled.
Maybe I need to look at degrading gracefully if javascript is disabled?.

O.K. It is hard to help without knowing a few more details.
Are you getting any error messages? Has the system worked in the past? The files do upload alright, and are listed on the page? And, have you changed the file permissions on the uploaded files?.
