Interesting. I've just installed WebCollab 2.50 and that works O.K., so it's not a version problem.
What happens when you try the demo website here on Sourceforge (It works for me)?.

I can get the icon to work normally on my test system. However you do need to have javascript enabled.
Maybe I need to look at degrading gracefully if javascript is disabled?.

O.K. It is hard to help without knowing a few more details.
Are you getting any error messages? Has the system worked in the past? The files do upload alright, and are listed on the page? And, have you changed the file permissions on the uploaded files?.
