You have two possibilities: 1. Build Xournal++ yourself: svn co https://xournal.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/xournal xournal cd xournal/xournalpp ./configure make sudo make install 2. Contact the Package manager of your repository, may he can help you. You're missing files, but I don't know why. Andreas.

Xournal++ didn't find the necessary resources. There is something wrong with the pats. (settings not found etc. don't matter, because it's the first start). Simpliest way: copy the recources to the correct folder: /usr/share/xournalpp/ui/pixmaps/xournalpp.svg search for xournalpp.svg, and the copy the ui folder to /usr/share/xournalpp And then it should start. I know this Problem, I also had this problem, but I did some changes and for me it's working now. Do you use the SVN version? Alpha 1 is to old. You have to use the svn version, latest. I'll release soon Alpha 2. Please open "cfg.h", change // #define INPUT_DEBUG to #define INPUT_DEBUG make again. Then try to draw, if there are still points copy the commandline output to this...
