  • Comment: Maven dependencies

I've been lacking the time to update Candy for AppFuse and probably this won't change in the near future. You could try using q4e, m2e or the not-yet-released Eclipse IAM plug-ins for maven support (they are not AppFuse specific).

  • Comment: maven error when creating project

If you experience problems using maven from the command line, candy can't be of any help, since it just runs maven for you. Keep in mind that Candy is changing its maven support from m2eclipse to q4e, so it will take some time until it is usable and compatible with latest AppFuse.

  • Followup: RE: Candy for Appfuse with full source of App

I've not added any support for AppFuse with full-sources. In theory, it should just work out of the box. Currently, Candy has lagged behind AppFuse in functionality, as I've left it in hiatus while I'm helping in developing q4e for more flexible maven support (q4e is at http://code.google.com/p/q4e/). Even when I'm glad you decided to test candy, there is little it can do to help you with...

  • Migrating from m2eclipse to q4e

Candy for AppFuse is being refactored in order to drop the dependency on m2eclipse (tycho)[1] for providing maven support. Instead, q4e[2] will be used. Project pages and update site for Candy will be available for those interested, but be aware that existing versions do not include the latest release of m2eclipse and neither can use the official 2.0 archetypes in AppFuse. Depending on...

  • Followup: RE: AppFuse in Eclipse 3.3 does not work

When creating an AppFuse project, maven's output is displayed on the maven console. It is really strange that nothing is displayed. Verify that you're running eclipse with an 1.5 JDK by looking in the Configuration Details (found in About Eclipse Platform > Configuration Details). You should find something like this: java.runtime.name=Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition...

  • Followup: RE: How to create Sprint MVC Modular project

Currently, Candy does not support modular projects, but it is on the to-do list. I've created this feature request in case you want to track it: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1755927&group_id=192415&atid=941305.
