My description seems to have disappeared....
This seems to happen when you use the "image" attribute of a ColorSplitbutton in a plugin. It appears to happen on firefox and IE, but the 3.1.1 release seems to have partially fixed the issue on IE. The problem is because some CSS important to how the layout should work for ColorSplitButtons seems to be missing when you use the image attribute...
