Thanks for looking into this - sounds promising!
Does this mean that recompiling the image with this flag set might potentially solve the problem (and maybe even allow specifying sub-ms delays, which seems to be possible syntax-wise)? Anyway, looking forward to your update.
Thanks,
Alex.

It seems that the minimal delay introduced by WANem when emulating latency is few milliseconds (when delay is configured to 1ms, the measured roundtrip latency is about 4-5ms).
Is it possible to achieve lower (but not zero) latency more accurately? e.g., roundtrip of 2ms?
Thanks,
Alex.

One more use-case requiring WANem in a form of executable/package is for usage with blades. I can't assign the media tray to this particular blade forever, and would prefer to install it on a local disk.
Would appreciate if you can think of any workarounds...

Hi,
I'm considering to use WANem to emulate high-throughput high-latency
interconnect.. How much throughput should I expect on a 1Gbit network?
Will WANem be a bottleneck in terms of throughput (if running on a
reasonable dedicated machine)?
Thanks,
Alex.
