Hi Paul you are welcome. Something more is going on. I guess. I just tried to run wx3270 on a different machine (a Surface with, this time, Italian keyboard). The result is the same. I still get the '1033' in the top right corner, while my systray says - correctly - ENG/IT; it says ENG/SG (Swiss German) on my Swiss keyboard. This may be a hint about what is going on. I suspect that wx3270 gets its clue from the "ENG" part. It shows the correct layout (IT or SG) because it gets it from a different...
One more bit of information. This is a wx3270 issue. wc3270 appears to do TRT. Marco
