Before the backup begins, you get asked what you want to do after it is done. I normally select choose. If not for this problem, I would eventually arrive at the menu where I could choose poweroff, reboot, or rerun Clonezilla. I know about how long each backup takes, so I normally choose rerun with umounting the repository, until I am ready to choose reboot. But this Bitlocker issue stops everything. Suppose I know I won't have time for the next backup, so I decide to poweroff instead of choosing...
Here is my latest log file.
I tried to get decent quality pictures of the monitor from my phone. I had to break it into 4 parts to ensure the text would be readable. Hopefully these pictures will suffice.
I am using Clonezilla live 3.0.0.26-amd64. After partitions have been backed up and checked, I receive this error. The mounted bitlocker device was not found. Skip unmounting it. I do not use Bitlocker at all, so it is no surprise that the device was not found. But getting this error keeps me from getting to the next action (power off, reboot, etc.) without my being present to make Clonezilla continue. Is there some way of getting rid of this error so the next step can take place without my pres...
I have no script. I wait until my next normal boot, become root, mount the USB drive, and manually chown everything as desired. With it being my normal boot, I can use the names rather than the numeric identifiers. I don't expect Clonezilla to read /etc/passwd and /etc/group. It is fine if I could just tell Clonezilla to chown to 1000:1001. I know this may not be a common thing for people to do, but an option could be added soon after Clonezilla is started or after the repository is mounted. Those...
I want to request that Clonezilla gain the option of setting the numeric UID and GID of all files and directories created when the backup is stored on a ext2/3/4 partition.
I installed docfetcher-1.1.25-portable.zip on a 64-bit Win8.1 system. Upon trying to start the application, I get an error saying Java 1.7.0 is required. I have installed Microsoft OpenJDK 17.0.2 which should more than fulfill the requirement. So what do I need to do to get DocFetcher to start?
My motherboard is a MSI X58A-GD45 (see https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/support/X58AGD45 ), and my operating system is Debian stable amd64. USB 3.0 hard drives work when I plug them into a USB3 port on the PC (i.e., not an external hub) when running Debian. But the drives are not seen in Clonezilla Live 2.6.0 amd64. Can support for my USB3 chipset be added to Clonezilla's next kernel compile?
Entires already have on their context menu Selected Entries / Move to Group. I want to request this feature be made available to groups as well so that a whole group can be moved at once into a new subgroup. Perhaps you can also allow a group to be dragged and dropped into another group.
