8 sometimes job based-on other job uses older job name - ID: 1066573
Last Update: Comment added ( karl-ia )

Sometimes, basing a job (A) on another job (B) causes
the new job (A) to get the name of the original job (C)
that the (B) job was based-on -- even though (B)
clearly displayed as having a different name in the
list from which it was selected.

Fix for [ 1066573 ] sometimes job based-on other job uses
older job name
* webapps/admin/jobs/new.jsp
On every time moving past 'new' page, ensure name and
description are set and pushed to disk order.

Problem is caused if, upon creating the new job, you don't
change any of the extra settings. (Either: immediately
submit job, or go to other tabs such as 'Settings' without
changing settings then hit 'submit job'.)

Then, state.job is correct, but order.xml still has old
names. You won't notice it on the initial spawned job,
because most UI will use changed/state.job values. However,
on next spawn, values will come from order.xml.

Sometimes the name to use comes from the state.job file. In
other contexts, its out of the order file. The job name and
description are not getting written into the order file
under certain circumstances. When this happens, new jobs
come up with the name of an ancestor order file. Problem
seems to be confined to name/description fields only. Needs
further study.

I think other settings from original (C) may be used as
well, instead of (B)s changes.
