Former RFE 94
There's no proper place for the text of an error
message and the documentation for ErrorName and
ErrorCode has not been particularly
good.
Description
ErrorName will be defined to be the name for an
ErrorCode (ENOENT)
ErrorCode will be defined to be the alphanumeric code
for the error (-2)
ErrorType remains the classification
ErrorText will be added to hold the text of the error
message.
Note that we may be doing the same thing in two
different ways, considering MsgText in MsgSet.
MsgText should be constrained to MsgSet (it is
currently allowed outside)
and outside, it should be ErrorText.
Norm will break this into several RFEs.
- ErrorText will be added in 3.2
- DocBug will be fixed.
