5 Template category change does not propagate to articles - ID: 970584

On de: Kategorie:Zeitleisten (plural)
[http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kategorie:Zeitleisten] was
renamed to Kategorie:Zeitleiste (sing.)
[http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kategorie:Zeitleiste]

Several templates in this category were updated to the
new name, but the articles were these templates are
used are still listed on the old category page until they
have been edited themselves.

Date: 2004-08-12 12:28 Sender: hashar Logged In: YES user_id=663115 MediaWiki software doesn't support renaming of categories. You will have to edit all articles and fix the category name, a bot like the python wikipedia framework can be used to ease the category moving task. The feature will hopefully be implemented once we switch to a new database shema.
