Hi,
I have just downloaded your FlasKMPEG application but
cannot get the sound activated on it!
I successfully get my video to play in the FlasK window
but no sound accompanies it. When I open the
Options/Advanced Options/Audio Tab Menu of Flask,
the ‘Audio Mode’ section ‘Don’t process audio’ radio
button is selected by default and the other two buttons
are greyed and therefore cannot be selected. I tried
the ‘Output format options’ menu and the default
positions were <<Uncompressed Video>> (OK I think),
and for Audio Codec’s: <<Uncompressed PCM Audio>>. I
tried some of the other Audio Codec selections but that
didn’t seem to make any difference either.
The DVD I am trying to uncompress to .avi format (to
then edit) is a family wedding film and so I definitely
need the sound included. It was originally converted
from DV tape to current format (file name example:
VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_2.VOB) using NeroVision Express 2
(Nero Showtime).
The DVD plays ok in windows media, in a DVD player,
etc, no problems with sound playback. When I open the
folder view of the DVD two folders show up: ‘Audio_TS’
& ‘Video_TS’. When opened, the Audio folder has
nothing in it (yet sound plays in the video ok?) All the
files associated with the film appear in the Video folder
(e.g.: VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_2.VOB). Is the sound encoded
into the video files, and if so, how come I can’t get
sound with FlaskMPEG?....And, why is the Audio Mode
selection (fixed) on ‘Don’t process Audio’?
Your help much looked forward to please. Thanks
Christopher Gregory
