5 strange numbered extensions - ID: 951814
Last Update: Comment added ( donut )

After downloading some files have strange numbered
extensions behind the normal extensions. After renaming
them quickpar complains that a few blocks are missing
or incorrect.

This usually is in a newsgroup with many articles.

For instance:
dvl-sah.vol00+01.PAR2.1084200191.1799180518
dvl-sah.vol03+04.PAR2.1084200231.460522

nget uses the numbered extensions whenever it downloads a
file that is incomplete or broken, in order to avoid
accidentally making you think you got a correct copy. In
addition, with par2 support, nget will download incomplete
posts in order to aquire enough data to complete the set.

So basically, nget is doing what it's supposed to do. :)
