#586 Prayer and chi healing

As a Monk, I prayed at 4/42 HP with chi healing
active. At the end of the prayer, I had 7/42 HP and
therefore wasn't healed.

    I don't understand. Why is chi healing any different to
    normal healing? Presumably the same effect would be observed
    with normal healing, just less offten since normal healing
    is slower.

    I believe that normal healing is disabled when you are
    invulnerable for this reason. See the following comment
    from allmain.c:

    /* One possible result of prayer is
    healing. Whether or
    * not you get healed depends on your
    current hit points.
    * If you are allowed to regenerate
    during the prayer, the
    * end-of-prayer calculation messes up
    on this.
    * Another possible result is
    rehumanization, which requires
    * that encumbrance and movement rate be

    It would seem that chi healing is not disabled during prayer.
