5 Moving transparent windows - ID: 912276
Last Update: Comment added ( npsquared )

I tried moving a semi-transparent window from terminal.app to
another desktop. This worked okay, but after moving, the window
was no longer transparent, nor could I make it transparent again
using the Terminal.app-prefs. I could repeat this behaviour with
different terminal windows, but I don't have any other app with
transparent windows to test it....

See my comment to Bug #881848. No problem with transparency here.

Terminal.app 1.4.6, Desktop Manager 0.5.3, OSX 10.3.9.

Hi there,
I confirm this behaviour to be a bug, as it loses transparency in other
application windows, such as Fire, for instance.

Could we have an idea of the delay for this bug to be fixed ?

Thanks for this great tool !

Fp.

I had the same issue, whereby moving a transparent
Terminal.app window caused the window to no longer be
transparent (it seemed like it was trying to blend with an
older desktop image which had been replaced since booting).

I *was* however able to fix transparency by readjusting it
in the preferences dialog for Terminal.app. Also, shrinking
the window (causing it to go into the dock) fixed the
problem as well.

I'm currently using OSX 10.3.3 and DesktopManager 0.5.1.
