handle component types with embedded whitespace - ID: 885188

Some profiles have embedded whitespace in the rdf:type
URI. This causes FragmentProcessor to report an error
and fail to process the component. It should be
possible to report the error, strip out any whitespace,
and continue processing if validation is set to none.
