rexxtk non functional - ID: 878540

I just installed rexxtk and tkl 8.0, but the demo REXXTK
testtk.rexx dies with:
Could not find any supportted TcL/Tk DLLs.
The installation routine adds the dirctories to the PATH
variables. I restarted my command prompts.
Any clue just what it is looking for or how I might get it
to work?
Is rexxtk dead? Is there a better/easier way to play
with windows?
