I used to use an old shareware birthday program (pre OS X). I'm trying to
move to an all OS X environment but I"m not there yet. Anyway, what I
would like to see to allow me to view MORE than just the next 30 days for
coming birthdays. Any reason this is limited to 30 days? How about the
next 90 days for instance. As someone who travels I'd like to know whose
birthday I'll be missing when I'm making travel plans.
By the way, I'm still waiting to see the display window keep it's size
between sessions. I'm talking about moving the sliders around and having
the program remember where I placed them. If I select the lengthy date
format, it doesn't all show unless i adjust the sliders. And then they are
lost when the program is next invoked. I'm using Birthday Reminder 3.0
(haven't seen any mention of a new version).
But for the most part, I'm pretty pleased with the program.

But this program is open source, so feel free to modify it as you see fit, maybe by adding a preference for look-ahead days. As for the window not keeping to its position/size, I've no idea why that happens, since I've already programmed it to automatically save its position/size everytime the window is altered. If you are a programmer, maybe you could take a look at the code and see what's causing this?
