When i run sob, and attempt to open an object file, it
crashes:

I can load the file just fine using bastard; it's only
sob that crashes.

yeah, that's my fault -- i meant to remove sob from .17, or
at least include some comment in the release notes about not
using it.

The sob code has not been touched since .15 or so, and will
not be touched until .19, .20 or some time in the far future
-- bda works well enough, is easier to work on than Gtk (not
to mention ncurses having a more stable API than Gtk), and
is in general suitable for testing aspects of the bastard
that are difficult to use with the cli.

Oops, forgot to mention; this happens w/ both CVS HEAD and 0.17.
