Hey....thanks for this post. I wanted to upgrade my Lombard to at least
Panther....and was reluctant to do so as I didn't want to lose the
wireless
support. Your post has given me the confidence to install Panther!

I've gotten it to work on my PB G4/Lucent Silver.
Instructions are as follows:

(1) Install driver.
(2) Install driver.
(3) Install driver.
(4) Install driver.
(5) Repeat until some custom installation screen comes up
where there SHOULD be an option to INSTALL the wireless
driver. Weird that it decided not to install during the last
10 or so installations, but anyway... make sure "Install
Wireless Driver" is ticked and continue installation.
(6) Reboot.

Everything should be fine and dandy.

I'm still having trouble getting it to work? Works flawlessly with
the IOExperts driver, but I have no intention of paying to get
802.11b working on my PB. What was the big intention when Apple
decided to make 802.11b NOT work on 10.3? All they've done is
made me intensely annoyed at them. The PB is sure to be my first
and last Apple product.

Maybe you could elaborate a little? I'm having trouble
getting 10.3.2 Panther to work with this driver. A nice step
by step would be great ;)

same here. works now under panther w/ my Linksys WPC11 v3
card. don't exactly what i did other than installing it abd restarting
a few times.
