5 Average MPG calculation error when total miles is > 43,00 - ID: 780308

There appears to be a calculation error for average MPG once total miles is
greater than 43,000. I experienced no problems with my data until I logged
over 43,000 miles. Currently if my data is filtered (from the beginning,
middle or end, it doesn’t mater) to an amount less than 43,000 miles my
average is correct. When not filtered Fuel Log is reporting 0.06 average
MPG (should be ~30.25 MPG).

I just downloaded 1.0.1 and it appears to have fixed this problem. I have
66,325 miles in mine and now it shows my average MPG at 21.82 instead of
the usual 1.0 something.

This bug appears to be fixed in version 1.0.1, even though
there is no reference to it in the change log. Thanks for
the new version!

I am having the same problem. As soon as you reach over
43,000 miles the average MPG is wrong. 11/5/04

I experienced the same issue. I put data in going back to
1998, and the graph shows the individual fillup mpg's at 21-
27, with the moving average tracking it well. But the average
mpg is at 9.74. I have 70,849 miles total. If I select a range
of dates that is less than 43,000 total miles I get reasonable
results.
