5 Applet wont show right - ID: 770439

I ahve GNOME 2.2 on a Mandrake linux system and i compiled
this from source and it didnt dl in right directory so i cutted and
pasted the files in the right place (i think) and everything but the
little sattlite on the tray appear. How to if fix it? and how do i
make a RPM out of it for gnome 2.2 users?

I had that same problem. I re-installed it but when i did
"./configure" i changed it to "./configure --prefix
/usr"
and it installed correctly. if someone would tell me how to
make a rpm ill make one for mandrake 9 with that.
