This might be a trivial thing...
Would be nice if the application could have a shortcut
that launches Stringer without the console. Here is how
to add it: create a new shortcut using the "File",
"New",
"Shortcut" menu item. Enter "javaw -jar stringer.jar"
in
the "Type the location of the item" input box, click Next,
type a name for the shortcut and press "Finish". Right
click on the new shortcut and choose "Properties". Make
sure that "Target" (in the "Shortcut" tab) reads
"%
JAVA_HOME%\bin\javaw.exe -jar stringer.jar" or the real
path to javaw (like "c:\jdk1.3.1\bin\javaw.exe -jar
stringer.jar"). The "Start in" field should be set to the
Stringer location (in my case "d:\JavaSoft\Stringer").
Also, it would be nice if the shortcut had an icon, so
press "Change icon..." and choose icon. I´ve taken the
JPG from the source and made an icon of it, that has
been attached to this Feature request.
