5 Simpler Cell Delete - ID: 611166
Last Update: Comment added ( sikand )

Deleting a cell is currently a 3-step process:

1) Cell Commands -> Delete
2) Library Commands -> Clean Catalog
3) Rfsh button

It would be nice if 2 and 3 automatically
followed 1.

New delete architecture fixes this. Sync to head of tree!

The entries remain in the Catalog because the directory
still exists. Removing the directory generates GDM warnings
on the CIW which so far, I have not been able to suppress.

Scanning each directory to check if it is full or empty
slows down the browser. So, I'm between a rock and a hard place.

If the steps are cosmetic, why is there a problem?

This is a problem because of some underlying GDM issues.

Step 1 actually deletes the cell.

Steps 2 and 3 are cosmetic.
