Visual Sound Analyzer

with ESD running, and no sound playing [idle].
Set Resize ESD on idle, and it contracts the applet.
Play a sound and applet shows graphic.
When the sound stops, the applet contracts.

Exit gnome-session.
Enter gnome-session.
VSA is not contracted when it loads.
Play a sound and the graphic displays.
When the sound stops, the applet does NOT contract.
Go into Properties, and
Go under Display, and
Resize ESD on idle *IS* checked.
Uncheck Resize ESD on idle, hit apply
Nothing happens [normal].
Check Resize ESD on idle, hit apply
The applet contracts!

...until gnome-session is restarted and panel loads again.
