How about adding a optionbox widget for organizing
optionmenus. This widget would be analogous to the
checkbox and radiobox widgets.

I've added a description of this widget in the 4.0.1 distribution .../incoming/README file. Hopefully someone will read the description and volunteer to create the optionbox.
