I would really appreciate this option too. The problem with a separate tag
step is that you might loose your selection. I often do the following:

1. change a bunch of files in different directories
2. enable flat view and filter for modified files
3. select the modififed files I want to submit
4. tag the files I just submitted

The problem is that after step 3 the files are no more modified and WinCVS
will remove them from the filtered view and deselect them. I have to find
them manually now.

Please add some tag option into commit dialog (including a force/move
tag). We all know this is a chubby solution from a technical view but it
would make the workflow very nice. I guess many users have a similiar
tagging logic so they instantly want to tag the commited files by using a
new tag or often by moving a tag. I personally have totally different
projects where we all use a "floating tag" (think about "readyfortest" or
"prod" or something like that).

commit doesn't provide the tag option hence we can't make
it working - you can write a script hoever to do that. Or
just tag after commit.
