5 CVS server issue: missing home directory - ID: 413746
Last Update: Comment added ( moorman )

I am working on the "doit" project.

when I do a checkout I get :

cvs -z3 -d:ext:aviars@cvs.doit.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/doit co
doit
aviars@cvs.doit.sourceforge.net's password:
Could not chdir to home directory /home/users/a/av/aviars: No such file or
directory
cvs [server aborted]: can't chdir(/home/users/a/av/aviars): No such file or
directory

The username/password are correct. I can do it with another person's
account on the project.( He lent me his ID to try.) Seems to be an account
problem likely related to SourceForge's server changes.

Could this be resolved?

Thank you very much,

Alan Viars

Greetings,

Your home directory has now been generated on the
SourceForge CVS servers. You should now be able to perform
your desired CVS operations without receiving an error from
the server. Please let me know if I may be of further
assistance in this matter.

Thank you,
