yap: long file names in the status bar - ID: 2897615

MiKTeX 2.8 (at least releases up to 3582 inclusively) insert full-path
forward-slashes src-specials that can't be used by various text editors,
moreover, YAP's status line displays these long filenames so that the
tex-file name without the path is not seen. I was OK in MiKTeX 2.7. Tried
on Windows XP SP2 and SP3.
