Details:

There are a bunch of words, particularly "ising"/"izing" that differ
english to US. There is no consistency about which is chosen when there are
both alternatives. figure out what to do

Date: 2009-11-16 17:51 Sender: alanr suggest cases where we use a term and it is known that it has a variant in british english should be language tagged with "en-us". Similarly with british spelling us "en-gb". I also suggest we have these as parallel preferred labels rather than using the alternative term mechanism.
Date: 2009-11-16 17:47 Sender: parkinso US spelling should be the default, UK spelling to be added as alternate terms. HP will fix this. There is a way to fix this in protege. MC/AR will look into this.
