5 Crash in Windows 7 x64 - ID: 2894098
Last Update: Comment added ( nivaca )

Hi, I moved from Windows Vista x64, where mp3splt worked perfecly, to
Windows 7 x64. But in the new platform the application crashes
immediately.
Thanks!

Yeah, very strange... I still cannot reproduce the crash.
I don't know if that finally fixed your problem, but please don't hesitate
to report any other issues :)

Yeah, it's odd enough. I downloaded and installed the GTK+ 2 platform---but
I suppose it doesn't have anything to do with this issue.
I tried using the .exe and the .bat.

Thanks for all!

I don't see any problem.

It means that if you download 'mp3splt_2.2.7a_i386.zip' (from
http://ioalex.net/testing_downloads/), unzip and run 'mp3splt.bat', you
will see the help in the console and could use 'mp3splt.exe' to split your
files.

What file have you downloaded/installed when you had the crash ?
And how did you launched mp3splt ?

In order to fix the problem, I would appreciate if you could:
1) download the file 'mp3splt_2.2.7b_i386.zip' from
http://ioalex.net/testing_downloads/debug/
2) unzip it
3) run 'mp3splt.bat'
4) send me the created 'log.txt' file (the file is created in the same
directory as 'mp3splt.bat')

If you don't want to post the file here, send it to me at

It doesn't even creat a log. I just crashes and the CMD window closes.

I have tried with mp3splt 2.2.7a. and I cannot reproduce the problem on
Windows 7 x64 english.
Can you send me the output of 'mp3splt' version 2.2.7a when trying to
split a file and with the extra '-D' argument ?
Do you have a localized version of Windows (french, german, chinese, ...)
?

Hi, I am using the command line app, in Windows 7 x64 Professional.
I had to go back to version 2.1 of mp3plit, which works fine in this
platform.
Thanks!

Thank you for reporting the bug.

What version have you tried on Windows 7 ?
Are you using the command line (mp3splt) or the graphical user interface
(mp3splt-gtk) ?
