I want my animated pets to go up/down stairs ...
I understand the motives for the recent changes to necromancy (stop pet
spamming), but I feel pure caster necromancers now have a hard time, eg.:
- around level 10, they lack the ability to handle slime creatures/yaks
when first entering a level, especially when they come in packs (before
they get the Book of Death necros have no big damage spell, escape spell or
crowd control). Vampiric draining is a bit too risky.
- after level 20, demons become a major problem without constant pet
cover.
Could I make a suggested change:
- animated pets can go up/down stairs
- animated pets will decay (ie. vanish, or have a chance of leaving a
skeleton behind) after say 3000-7000 turns
