You have done a great job with Data Crow.

I have populated Data Crow with about 2000 ebooks (pdf). With my
particular mix of titles Data Crow's update at a rate of 30%. Typical:

Data Crow can't locate an (existing) isbn or picture or both within a pdf.

Data Crow knows the correct isbn or author or exact title yet Amazon and
B&N can't locate the book.

My solution is to use an opensource program called "elibrary." When the
same ebooks are submitted to elibrary its has a 95% success rate.

I would appreciate you taking a peek at elibrary's code to see what it's
doing. The elibrary project can be found on sourceforge.

Thanks Robert.

Richard

I perform the same search with elibra elibrary (5% failure).to fetch the
data and then. Will you please take a peek at the code that handles
updates. There's an open source project on source forge called
"elibrary."

I have changed the status to pending as I cannot do anything with this
ticket without additional information. Either this will become a bug report
or a change request (based on the to be provided information).

I am sorry but that program is written in a completely different language.

Secondly I am not sure whether this is an actual feature request. I would
be more interested in hearing which ISBN could not be retrieved from Amazon
or B&N where you would expect it to be retrieved. This could be either a
bug or a limitation of Data Crow.

Would it be possible for you to add this information? One or two examples
would do.

Thanks,
Robert Jan
