5 dbghelp.lib not set in project file - ID: 2884894

Details:

When creating a release version of pwsafe, there is a link error failure.
You need to go pwsafe property pages, Linker, Input and add 'dbghelp.lib"
to Additional Dependencies to get a successful link.

NOTE: The Windows configuration we publish is the ReleaseM (M for Microsoft's XML processing) and NOT Release (without any suffix). Also note that the configurations without a suffix (i.e. Debug and Release) are only used to build the 2 DLLs used by PasswordSafe and no other reason. The suffices 'E' and 'X' are to support to other XML processors - Expat and Xerces respectively. These were added to enable to provide XML processing on other platforms when needed. Therefore, you do not have to add dgbhelp.lib to either the Debug or Release configurations as these are never used to build PasswordSafe itself. David
