5 Transfer Data base from Endnote - ID: 2884485
Last Update: Comment added ( sf-robot )

I have used Endnote up til now. All of my resouces are recorded by
Endnote. Now I am trying JabRef, but transfer the database from Endnote to
JabRef is a big problem. I hope JabRef will provide a function to transfer
a database from Endnote to JabRef

JabRef comes with a set of export filters for Endnote designed for
interoperability with JabRef. Start JabRef and select Tools -> Unpack
Endnote export filters from the menu. This lets you store a zip file
containing the filters. Unzip this file, and install the export filters in
Endnote. Then you should be able to export to a file that JabRef can
import. I haven't tested this process myself, since I don't use Endnote,
but I assume it works a lot better than using the default export filters.
