When I increase the size of the main interface, the useful controls are
pushed to the top and a lot of wasted space is left over in the majority of
the lower part of the window. I'd like use the thumbnail to select a
region, but since it's too small, I try to maximize the window and make the
thumbnail larger and easier to use. But this is a useless effort because
the thumbnail doesn't increase along with the size of the interface
window.
