Tracker: Bugs
The LinkOuts feature appears to be broken. When I'm viewing TAIR9 mRNA gene
model and spliced ESTs, clicking a gene model seems to cause the Link-Out
popup menu to get "stuck" on that gene model and it won't allow me to view
the NCBI record for a selected EST.
To repeat:
1. Launch IGB and visit species Arabidopsis thaliana and genome version
A_thaliana_TAIR9
2. Load Bioviz (QuickLoad) data set TAIR9 mRNA
3. Load Bioviz (DAS2) data set EST (spliced, single map)
4. Navigate (zoom & scroll) to a region with a gene model (TAIR9 mRNA tier)
and select it
5. Click Refresh Data to activate loading of the intron ESTs from the
server that overlap with the currently visible region
6. Right-click (or control-click) on the gene model and observe the popup
menu, which lists an option to visit arabidopsis.org
7. Now, right-click (or control-click) on an EST and observe that the popup
menu does not list the EST id and an option to visit NCBI (as it should)
but is still "stuck" on showing options for the gene model.
