Python Serial Port Extension

Tracker: Bugs

3 write returns None - ID: 2870961
Last Update: Comment added ( sf-robot )

According to http://pyserial.sourceforge.net/pyserial_api.html#classes,
Serial.write returns "Number of bytes written".
However, for me it returns None. Looking at the source code, I see no
returns in write methods in pyserial-2.4/serial/*.py, except for
sermsdos.py

Yes the documentation is for the version 2.5. In that release the write
function does return the number of bytes.

i've added a note to the documentation (not yet uploaded).
