5 afick not working - ID: 2865601

Details:

After installation of afick 2.14-1 core on centos 5.3, initialising
database gives following error :

"Premature end of base64 data at /usr/bin/afick.pl line 1738."

It goes on screen in loop, assuming that scans files, not waited for it to
end.

Date: 2009-09-28 11:27 Sender: gerbier the rpm package for afick 2.14-1 was built on last fedora (fedora 11, with rpm 4.6) and it seems to be compatibily problems with centos 5.3 (rpm 4.4) I rebuild the package on an older rpm, and put it on sourceforge. Could you test it and tell me if it works for you ? you have to remove the old afick package and install the one
