After downloading a torrent, I usually seed by Time. I'm not sure why, I
just do :) Anyway, when a download completes, ctorrent will tell me how
much time it took to download, and it shows how long it will seed... but
(by default) it doesn't say when that stopwatch started running.
Since ctorrent is typically running on my headless server (using "screen")
I'm usually not even logged in when it completes so that I could manually
jot down the time... besides... that's something a computer should do ;)
However, I do realize that I could get the remaining seed time from the
alternate status line, but switching to it causes previous lines to
scroll... possibly losing information... and besides, working with screen's
scrollback buffer is a somewhat PITA.
So... I was wondering if you could add a timestamp that displays when the
download completed (i.e. When the seed clock starts)... something like in
the attached patch file I created for version 3.3.2. If not, then that's
OK. I'll simply continue to use this great program... and I'll just keep
applying my patch like I have for the last few years :)
