The solution is similar to the one proposed in bug 1614327 regarding the
use of window.open() for javascript links. Also see the JSCook forum topic
at http://yuanheng.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=543#543. There are probably
other undesirable side effects to using window.open() for javascript links
besides breaking inter-window communication and the issue reported in
1614327. I've attached a copy of a modified JSCookMenu.js that has the
recommended change.
