9 hint for missing gpsbabel - ID: 2838556

Details:

If gpsbabel is not installed, viking states gps device N/A. I first thought
this is because my selfmade cable. the debug and verbose output does not
state anything about missing i/o tools. this would have saved my lots of
time testing the cable...
