As you haven't uploaded the patch file to this tracker item I've tried to use unstable/main/finkinfo/text/xml2rfc.patch but $ fink -v validate xml2rfc.info Validating package file xml2rfc.info... Error: PatchFile-MD5 does not match PatchFile checksum. (xml2rfc.info) Actual: adb6fa5f8e10f595b6d49800550c3157 Expected: f1d1e9a67373f24f3e91b7752c96de38 If the patch file has been changed, please upload it; otherwise, please fix PatchFile-MD5.

I see you've changed the package description to use the Patch field instead of PatchFile/PatchFile-MD5 and the corresponding build dependency on fink (>= 0.24.12), but the Patch field is deprecated and therefore the package description file doesn't validate. Could you please fix that?
