5 Repods bugged under current dev - ID: 2829144
Last Update: Settings changed ( torren )

When showing units in the faction channel:

My unit: #52189 B (4/5) [0 EXP ] Kills: 0 Built by Clan Wolf on Strana
Mechty. BV: 1377 Is Critically Damaged

This is an Ice Ferret.

Think this has to do with the repods that dont work. When the repod
dialogue pops up, the config selector shows nothing except this message:
"No unit selected"

Repodtables are set and look for the above example:

0 Ice Ferret A.MTF
0 Ice Ferret B.MTF
0 Ice Ferret C.MTF
0 Ice Ferret D.MTF
0 Ice Ferret E.MTF
0 Ice Ferret H.MTF
0 Ice Ferret L.MTF
0 Ice Ferret I.MTF
0 Ice Ferret Prime.MTF

Selectable repodding is anabled too.
Bug showed up with the current dev (Build from repository today)

Fixed. Issue with Model and Chassie name changes in MechSummary. The
display of the omni is correct. For Meks or Omins only the Model is shown
if that has 0 length then the chassie is shown.

- Repodtables for clan factions are in server/data/buildtables/ClanOmni
- Repodtables for is factions are in server/data/buildtables/ISOmni
Folder locations are set in each houseconfig (i.e. Lyran Alliance config =
ISOmni)
Tables are named i.e.: Lyran Alliance_assault.txt

Again, this works all with the currently running previous Mekwars version.
When updating to the current release, repods don't work. So when i see
this, its obvious that all is set correctly, except something changed in
how unitfiles and/or names are readed.

Do you have the correct folder names for each faction since you have no
factory use? What is the folder name in each of the repod tabs for each
house? if it does not say ClanOmin or ISOmin its not going to show up.

The reason your Omin's show up incorrectly is because you do not have a
Correct Model Name in the unit file.

- Modelnames are from the original Megamek download and 100% correct.

Sounds like you have the repod configurations set incorrectly.

- Repod configurations work with the older Mekwars and megamek files.

Are you using indivdual House configs? if so those will override the
server configs.

- Yes, each faction has its own configs even with different repod costs

Make sure the use common table for repod is checked for the house/server
What folder is listed for Repods?
Do you have it so you need factories active for Repod?

- No Factory needed for repodding and due to that repods are set by
specific faction repod files

what are the "RepodTables" names and where are the located?

- Repodtables for clan factions are in server/data/buildtables/ClanOmni
- Repodtables for is factions are in server/data/buildtables/ISOmni
Folder locations are set in each houseconfig
Tables are named i.e.: Lyran Alliance_assault.txt

Note: Repods work fine with previous versions (Maybe you remember, the one
with the fixed parts black market bugs). I personally think the problem
comes from the megamek version, since units shown in faction chat are named
i.e. just "Prime" instead of "Summoner Prime".

Although we don't use repods currently, tested on Warriors of Kerensky,
same issue, no units are showing in the repod dialog. Have confirmed all
config settings are correct.

This is the one i use for builds.

Maybe wrong?

"https://mekwars.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/mekwars mekwars"

I tested a Megamek build from the Repository including together with a
build of Mekwars from the above link.

Unit files wherent changed and are still the official with some custom
builds. After i figured that repods dont work with it, i went back to my
older MM version, where they are fine now. Also i rolled back to an older
Megamek version, because of lag issues i had with the client. When i think
about it now, it can be a bug in the Megamek dev version too.

Ill look into it when back home on wednesday and let you know if my bug
report here is in the wrong place.

Which repository are you building from? Repod has not been touched in
quite some time its based on the Model and Version in the unit files.
