Dungeon Crawl Reference

Hi !

What do you think of this ?
A poisoned blade has the ability to infuse poison into the flesh of those
it hits ... so, why can't it poison the flesh of corpses it chops ?
I was wanderring in the dungeon with only a dagger of poison, hungry, no
food and I killed a creature. I chopped it with the dagger and ate the
flesh. No more hungry but I thought that it was not a right thing to do,
using a poisoned weapon to chop flesh ...
