5 Update xCAT2onAIX-2.pdf with network setup - ID: 2821494

Details:

The xCAT2onAIX-2.pdf does not have a step to create a network table before
running the makedns. As a resuilt the following error occurs:

[/install> makedns
Error: Unable to open networks table, has makenetworks been run?.

The doc does say "Create xCAT network definitions for all the the cluster
networks." but not sure why the command would be omitted when all other
steps have examples.

Date: 2009-08-20 06:26 Sender: ligc HI Kerry, The command makenetworks has not been supported on AIX yet, this is why the networks table is not populated on AIX. For now, we have to create the networks in the networks table manually before running makedns. The makenetworks AIX support is in our wishlist for xCAT 2.3.
