Having a problem with the media dispatcher from media proxy 2.3.2 (which is
an Excellent tool!) if calls don't hit the platform for several hours. The
connection to the mysql server times out and the application does not
attempt to reconnect. An error is logged and the record is dropped.
Restarting dispatcher solves problem but if a reconnect attempt could be
made before giving up it would be helpful.
error message:
media-dispatcher[7194]: error: failed to insert record into database: MySQL
server has gone away
