Hi.
I have my KeePassX database .kdb files stored on a folder shared with
Dropbox (→ https://www.getdropbox.com/referrals/NTEzNTY2MDk if you need
an account... *G*). And I use KeePassX and thus the database at the same
time on multiple locations.
Starting with v0.4.0, KeePassX introduced a .lock file (eg. called "KeePass
Datenbank (Zu Hause).kdb.lock" in my case). That's a 0 byte file. If the
file exists, KeePassX informs the user, that the file might be open
already.
It would be good, if you could store some useful information in that file.
Like the PID of the keepassx process which created that file and also the
hostname where the process was running.
Kinda like what vim does with its .swp files.
Thanks,
Alexander
