I recently downloaded FlightGear 1.9.1b to update my 1.0 version. One more
time, thank you and bravo to all developers for this big and nice job.
Unfortunately, I am presently unable to contribute...
After installing v1.9.1, I noted some small bugs of which I ignore the
reason.
1) When I run a flight from the launcher, if NUM LOCK is "ON", numeric keys
(0 to 9) are inoperative for commands. After « run », I have to
deactivate num lock (NUM LOCK "OFF") to make them work, but in this case, 5
(center all) does not work.
The best solution I have found to make them work normally is by
de-activating num lock before run, then activate it.
That is not a problem for the yoke (with works well with the mouse), but it
is for the rudder (key 0) with auto coordination : OFF, and for key 5.
2) In front of the instrument panel, the mouse cursor behave weirdly after
right clickings: instead of frank cross or double arrow (as before in
v1.0), it shows preferably a flickering arrow pointer, and the cross or
double arrow (and their effect) appear only when I move the mouse. Not very
convenient, often surprising because I cannot know in which configuration I
am.
3) Beechcraft B 1900D: very nice instrument panel and noise ! But the
inclinometer ball (not very sensitive) goes the wrong side when we push the
rudder.
4) Why has the Boeing 787-8 disappeared from the base version ? (and I
cannot find it from FlightGear website). Its instrumentation was the most
complete for this kind of aircraft.
Thank you
